Oh, whatever works for you. Noonish? I'm taking a nap until then when I get back from dropping Superfly at the airport. It is way too early!

Sadly I can't make it. Too much work, not enough time in the day. :) Are there many Boston FriendFeeders left?

We're going to postpone for now. Lo will be back up here in a couple weeks and we'll schedule a meetup with more notice. Mike, the most active FriendFeeder in my "New Englanders" list (not sure if she's Boston) is http://friendfeed.com/gravitty

I thought my ears were burning! I'm in western MA, but my parents are about 30 mins from Boston. If I get a couple days notice I can probably make it in.
- <3Heather<3
Sorry everybody, I would like to have given more notice but I had no internet/cell service of any kind in VT :(
- Lo the Baker
Can't believe I missed this post. I tend to forget to check in here because it never seems like there are many Bostonians around on FF. I'd love to meet up with you lot sometime.

I notice I missed Craig Pina's March 30 post in the Massachusetts group. I'm turning on email notifications there.

Doesn't look like there is much happening in MA on friendfeed.. I'm just returning from a 5.5 year sailing trip and would love to connect with some MA developers, bloggers and startups.
Say, you don't by any chance have a backlog of photos from that trip that you haven't put up yet?
- Bruce Lewis
Bruce..too funny I was actually going to get in touch with you WRT Ourdoings etc. Yes we have over 25,000 photos that we've processed (so far).. with full data (tags, geotags, captions etc). We usually upload to flickr or picasa and then integrate those back into our blog (http://svbillabong.blogspot.com) using BlurbBits (http://ff.im/4tlY2) a set of utilities I wrote. Would love to...

I deleted the old version and uploaded the full 5 minutes, so it's better now. But if you're in Boston how about lunch next week?

My uncle, Mark Nobrega, has been missing since Tuesday (July 28) morning....He is 51 years old driving a 2004 Black Ford Ranger extended cab. MA license plate # 62YX71. Please call the police if you spot this vehicle.
A lot of web enthusiasts will be in the area for http://www.webinnovatorsgroup.com/ We can eat at Cambridgeside, then move the meetup across the street at 6:30. RSVP for the meetup by commenting here, and for webinno at that link.

Can't wait to see everyone! Come stop by!
- Jesse Stay
Jesse, I didn't know you were Boston local. heh.
- mikepk
I've been thinking about starting some kind of startup / geek dinner thing. We used to do them years ago and then they kind of fizzled out. It'd be nice to reinforce some of the Boston area startup community, a little less formally then say webinno, or the Mass TLC.
- mikepk
Jesse will be temporarily Boston local and is coming to this meetup. Mike, do you know about Ivan Kirigin's startup poker in Arlington and Steve Garfield's media makers in JP?
- Bruce Lewis
from fftogo
Mike, I'm just visiting. My parents live in Boston so I'll be spending a month or so there this summer. I grew up in Texas though. :-)
- Jesse Stay
I've had my head down for like a year+ so I haven't been engaged in the community unfortunately. Now trying to catch my breath and see who's around.
- mikepk
Jesse, cool, I see your posts all the time on your blog+friendfeed, and thought it was odd that I didn't know you were Boston area. Guess that explains it. :)
- mikepk
Bruce, didn't know about the poker thing. Although I'm not a big fan of poker (just could never get into the game). Knew about Steve's thing but have never attended.
- mikepk
Mike, sounds like this meetup would be perfect for you. Will we see you July 15?
- Bruce Lewis
from fftogo
Yeah, I'll be there. Also plan on going to webinno. Haven't been to a webinno since we presented there a looong time ago.
- mikepk
hi - I work in Hopkinton (EMC) and live in Douglas, so I don't get to Boston too often. Trying to see if my schedule will allow me to come.
- Stuart Miniman
Hey Stuart, where at EMC do you work? I'm ex-EMC'r myself. :)
- mikepk
Mike - I'm at HQ (176 South St) in the CTO Office. Going to Boston might not work for me on Wed (looking to meet @Jesse and might have a more convenient time/place). Look me up if you're out here.
- Stuart Miniman
Will see what I can do to attend. My office is near Worcester so I'll have to finagle getting out early.
- Sally - Skyrimmin' It
I'm out in Boston (well Medford) so I don't get out there that often. I used to be in the mothership too. The last thing I did was help start the system engineering and performance group with Jim Guyer (changed names 100 times and eventually transitioned into Amnon's team I think). Been a while now though (4+ years). Do you work with Cardente? He's a good friend of mine.
- mikepk
I'll be there at 5, but I expect a lot of people will roll in later. Webinno's doors open at 6:30, but the event doesn't really start until 7, so I won't head over to the Sonesta until 6:50 or so. People who can't come at 5 should still try to come. Weather looks favorable so we can eat outside.
- Bruce Lewis
Does someone have the link to the Web Innovators group meeting? I don't have much detail about it.
- Jesse Stay
We are less than two weeks away from our July 15th Web Innovators Group meeting and wanted to announce our set of demonstrating companies. The doors officially open at 6:30pm at the Grand Ballroom in the Cambridge Royal Sonesta, with the “Main Dish” presentations to the entire crowd starting at 7pm
