Is this what they call re-inventing the wheel? Apart from the 'front' (steer) wheel being at the back, this design/concept has been a round for a very long time.

Kevin, the Terratrike, a tadpole-type (the other one is "delta") tricycle steers in the front (Ackerman steering), not in the back, only Leo hasn't figured out yet how to adjust it properly and screw down the handlebars. This model is too small for him, as he'll soon be bound to discover, but there are other brands on the market, of bigger size and far better quality.

Well, Leo's mouth-agape reaction was typical, representative of the initial awe one feels while riding a recumbent trike. It's like being in the fairground "radio cars" of the fifties. But he's quite mistaken that he is "very low to the ground." This is average height for such trikes, with eyes on the same level as in fast convertibles; there are competition trikes with 20 degree seat...

The lawsuit, filed on Monday, could test the limits of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). It centres around an open-source effort to help iPods and iPhones work with software other than Apple's iTunes. Last November Apple's lawyers demanded that the Bluwiki.com Web site remove a project called iPodhash, saying that it violated the DMCA's anti-circumvention provision

Leo: you really should mention that the security of Windows has improved greatly with Vista and Win 7. I have yet to find malware or virus on my Vista machines or Win 7. The UAC which many people complain about is just like sudo on Mac and Linux.

I was reading that the new build of Win 7 will have an option to run in Win Xp mode. Which is just a virtual machine with windows xp. Hopefully, they can break away from compatibility issues by using virtual machines.

I used to use Sage TV on a purpose-built HTPC. Very customizable, and a great community behind it -- although I haven't looked into it in a while, so I don't know where it's at now.

I can't get my Xbox working with Media Centre on my main PC or my HP Touchsmart. I've tried it on 32 and 64bit Vista, but both fail half way through. It's not the Xbox, because I tried it a few months back, when I first installed Windows 7. Anyone else have a similar problem?

Tricia don't get me wrong I use my MacBook way more than the touchsmart, its just there for quick look up of things, my roommates use it also for quick look ups. if it was going to be a main machine for me though i would get the mac because the touch screen would have no use at a desk.
