The whole "Elf on a shelf" kids xmas thing reminds me (cynically) of the TSA and Total Information Awareness for toddlers. Ick.

@andrewcilento Land's End. They're boxy, have a slight poof to them but are super warm. I hear LL Bean makes some too.
Took 1,200 photos today on a 16Gb card and it was only half full (jpg, not RAW because I'm lazy like that -- it still amazes me)
