My Christmas wish list: Mac Mini, 8" studio monitors, and some fiberglass sound treatment.
The more I think about it, the more I really want a Mac Mini for a studio machine. No more plugging/unplugging the laptop every day.

Wow. 90% of my mixing troubles stem from over-compression. It's amazing what backing off a little will do.
