Just finished watching the release of "Paranormal Activity" that's been going around on the net. Here's what I think:
HortonThought the movie was really good. I love movies like this, so I felt it did it's job. I loved the ending of this released because it showed how everything could be "normalized" and everything swept under the carpet. I think that's where the psychological part comes in.

Was I scared out of my wits? Definitely ... no. Not at all. There were only a few parts of "action" that could be classified as scary. The rest? "Character development" and "story buildup". You could literally skip (most of) the first hour of the movie and not miss a beat at all. Just watch the beginning, and the last 20-30 minutes.

Did I enjoy the movie? Of course. I loved it. Probably one of my favorite horror flicks in a quite a while. :-)

UPDATE: Ok, maybe the movie had an effect on me. Kinda like eating spicy Asian food. It's definitely not like Mexican or Cajun spicy food. It takes it a minute before it hits, then kinda stays with you for a while.
