It's total crap compared to the books, but it's still decently watchable. :D Far more palatable to me than Twilight, that's for sure. (I watch the eps while running around on my hunter. :D)

I'll have to check out the books. Somehow I doubt the TV show will follow them completely.

Oh it most definitely doesn't. The books are actually pretty decent. They have long been a favorite book series of mine, and yeah it's just brain candy teen fare, but it's a love story I can get behind. I do have to say, I kind of like what they've done with Damon in the TV series. But I'm still waiting to see if his dynamic with Elena changes at all because that's where the books were...

Playing my warrior (Tippler). I have /never/ died so much at such a low level. Even as a mage I rarely die. Is this normal? Or am I finishing quests too soon and not gaining levels like I should? Maybe a gear issue?
Classes like Warriors are more dependent on gear and spec than DPS casters like Mages and Warlocks. I found I had to plan out, a few levels in advance, where I wanted to take my paladin and warrior alts, otherwise it'd be night and day when questing.

I've thought about rolling a DK just so I could twink my warrior and any others to make things easier. May end up doing this since leveling went from super easy to super hard super quick.

I died ALL. THE. TIME. levelling up my mage. But she was a fire mage, who have notoriously poor survival skills. Frost mages, on the other hand, are the total opposite, and can survive just about anything. I have no idea about any other classes...so I'm offering no useful information to you. Lol :)

Lol, I got my 80 mage, so I know what you mean. I decided to make me a DK (Wino) to help twink my toon(s). I won't take any time for me to hit 70+, then I can send money to whatever I decide will be my main.

What spec are you focusing on? Go Prot for best survivability (and in this day and age, it's not a bad levelling spec). I levelled purely as Fury so I died tons, but I loved playing Fury so it evened out. Heirloom items can help too.

Not gunna lie, Brizzly seems useless. The only use I see is to find out what trendy topics mean. They're normally stupid anyways, so bleh.
Watching "We Were Soldiers" for Veterans Day. I love using holidays as an excuse to watch good movies.
Coke and EW (Evan Williams) is definitely the drink of choice for us poor folk in the recession. Too bad I am now outta Coke. Ugh. Bleh. Blah. Meh. Boo.
Just realized I'm hanging out with friends instead of watching Trauma, NCIS etc. Weird in a good way. Maybe I'm normal after all. ;-)
Trying out brizzly. So far is pretty spiffy. Although there are some features for Facebook I wish they had (links etc).

Please do! The more the merrier. A bunch of us are just reaching level 80 and are starting on heroics, but there are plenty of members still leveling up their mains (and alts, of course.) Send a tell to Haggi, Graive, Unruin, or Ngumiki for a guild invite, or just post in the room and one of us will ginvite ya. :D

Very cool. I got a pretty nice 80 Arcane Mage I may transfer if I start playing there often. I made a warrior last night by the name of Tippler since Ive never played one. I'll /tell someone when I can. :-)
