Matt Hilton to Matt's feed, Carlos Ayala
Heads up. I have no idea if its coincidence or not, but I upgraded to firmware 3.1 on my just over a year old iPhone this afternoon and tonight its completely dead.

No power, nothing happens when I plug it into computer or wall socket. Yay, I love having a $200 brick.

woah wtf? i upgraded just fine. also, mine has bricked out like that in the past...twice actually and it came back after a while.

Hope it does the same. I'm going to move my sim to another phone and just let the battery die and then try a recharge if its not completely gone already.

i plugged it in..let it sit there for a few and then every so often hit the power button and/or the power + home...and it eventually came back.

Well I got it back. Held the power and home buttons together for about 10 seconds. I wonder what the deal was? Oh well, maybe now I can stop being pissed off and go to sleep.
