@BPaton I'm a fan of Thunderbird (Mac or PC), if not using Mail.app on a Mac.
RT @TUAW: Rumor: MacBook Pro refresh imminent, SKUs dropped from Best Buy systems http://www.tuaw.com/2010... [post]
@vocalgeekery Oh yeah, never mind in that situation. That would be a plan for disaster.
@vocalgeekery Extemporaneous speaking FTW.
I finally got the new @facebook layout. Initial reaction: this will have a slight learning curve.
@kevinrj I'm a mechanical engineering major.
@kevinrj I would keep the major and add a minor.
I decided to go in for advising on a nuclear engineering minor. It really interests me, and I think the minor would be fun.
A beautiful last night launch! Space Shuttle launches are part of my inspiration for becoming an engineering student. #STS130
The Future of Web Content – HTML5, Flash & Mobile Apps by @jerBrightcove - http://www.techcrunch.com/2010...
@nitecrawla Yes, it's a great place. CrunchBase is a branch of TechCrunch located in San Francisco. Work is done remotely.
@nitecrawla I would recommend it, but some internships - like mine - will be academic.
@nitecrawla Prank calls sound pretty funny. No, I couldn't find anything interesting to do,.
@nitecrawla What show did you see?
@nitecrawla Yes, I'm a CrunchBase intern. It just comes down to your experience and applying for the internship, as all internships do.
@Billyhime Actually, Firefox doesn’t include the proprietary H.264 codec for licensing reasons. They want to promote an open web.
@jackamick Since my MBP's logic board fried, I have been waiting for the new i5/i7 MBPs to be released. Hopefully, if true, this means soon.
@jackamick That's exactly why I have been holding out. The significant increase in performance across the board warrants it.
@rileyissweet 42.48M iPhones have been sold in total, and roughly 1.2M Droids have been sold total. That may be why.
@rileyissweet It is until you compare it - the first-gen iPhone sold 600,000 and the Droid sold 525,000, both in the first month.
@matkem Good discussion. No hard feelings about it I hope. I just like to discuss issues (and fail at it most of the time...) - ask @leydon.
@matkem I agree with the point you're making, but generalizing all teens involved in online media under that banner is a disservice.
@matkem http://twitter.com/matkem... is generalization. If the issue is with teens who have a "do-it-all" attitude, use your rhetoric to specify.
Google Nexus One Sales Bombing -- Only 80,000 Sold After A Month: http://www.businessinsider.com/nexus-o...
@matkem While some do fake and exaggerate claims, it would be cynical to generalize teenagers who engage in online media in that fashion.
@matkem Are you refering strictly to online/social media entrepreneurs?
@matkem Just because they aren't the size of TWiT (,etc.) doesn't mean that they lack accomplishment. Many are valued in niche markets.
@wmontanaro This won't cause a major shock in online media toward teens, but it will provide the impetus for closer examination of teens.
@matkem Legitimate teenage entrepreneurs/speakers do exist. You provide a disservice to those by saying that.
@Digeratii Which is why, as much as I would like to put my two cents in, I won't be. (Unless I get an all-clear, but I doubt that.)
