That is a great video! I wish Kiyomi were so well behaved when we drive to the dog park. The latter part of your trip where Duncan was running to the window, wagging his tail, whining, and running in a circle is how Kiyomi behaves in our XTerra when we take her to the dog park and sees either other dogs or traffic.

Thanks Carmen & Ken. He does ride really well for the most part...even better after the dog park, he sleeps all the way home :D

"Buddy, our previous dog, came into our lives when our children were still young and our days were full of pick-up times, piano lessons and soccer games. Buddy was just one part of a life jammed with caretaking responsibilities. In fact, Buddy took care of us as much as we took care of him. But we’d concluded, in the two years after Buddy died, that an empty nest was really no blessing. Sure, we could travel on impulse or work late without worrying about who would feed and walk the dog. But when we took walks by the river or hiked on our favorite trails, there was always the missing one: a dog to share them with. Mainly, we realized, we are dog people. Since Scout’s arrival, I’ve decided that we are part of a trend: empty nesters who are welcoming new life in the form of a dog."

We never had a dog while we we growing up, and now there's Ziggy. Technically he's my youngest sister's dog, but once she moves away, if she ends up taking him with her, I'm sure my mom would have to replace that little silly fluffy guy in a heartbeat.

We had dogs and a cat around when I was growing up. I always knew that regardless of what happened in the child department, I wanted a dog when I was in a place and situation that allowed it. We got our first dog almost ten years ago and now have twelve paws running around our home. I'm glad my husband was so supportive of this because he never had any pets bigger than a gerbil when he...

Don't think I could handle life's ups and downs without a dog, I mean who else would stay up with me while the baby is teething

"For those of you unfamiliar with AppleCare, it's basically an extended warranty service offered by Apple. You can get up to three years of service and support for your Mac as long as you're willing to pay. However, what Apple doesn't tell you is that if you're a smoker, your AppleCare might be worthless if your computer actually needs repairing."

Dear Neighbor, Obsessively leafblowing your driveway does not inspire me to do mine. I'm not doing it again until the leaves are down. Love, The-Psycho-Neighbor-Lady
Thanks Andre. It won't be out (according to what I know at this moment) until March of '11. Which seems like forever, but I'm sure the time up until the manuscript deadline is going to fly.

Rhett & Link are pretty great. But I really liked that the Taco Bell guy got the order (mostly) correct and it was only $22. "2 taco salads for the ladies"

All this woo woo foofarah is people trying to avoid taking responsibility for building their own tomorrows. I remember the whole "Jupiter effect" in 70s and 80s. People have apocalyptic fantasies because then their bad decisions wouldn't come home to roost.

Right, Dave. I remember Pat Robertson ranting about the end times in 1982!

"Yep, that's right. Consumers can hook up six DisplayPort displays, making one heck of a desktop that could fill an entire wall thanks to the company's ATI Eyefinity technology. Apparently, the card uses the same dual-slot cooling solution as the reference HD 5870 model too, with the six display ports mounted just under the card's cooler exhaust. We don't know at this point whether all 10 outputs can be used at the same time."
