@Judd_of_Kryos A blog link in Twitter is fine (better than multiple tweets!), as long as you don't use Twitter for JUST blog links.
@chuckdude I don't get that. I've never had Sony gear that wasn't perfect (but may be overpriced, or have an annoying misfeature like UMD…)
@jimcorreia Sweep an area clear down to the grass. Dogs get confused by snow.
Buried in Goatberg's Nook review: "Sony … is promising to release its first wireless e-reader later this month." OOooh!
@siegel @fraserspiers Delver: "96Nov13 Created framework." (not exactly shipping code, but led to Hephaestus…)
@bbum Good job on surviving 40 of 'em! Now go back to watching Gran Torino, old man!
Harper's says newspapers are dead: http://harpers.org/archive... But rumors of Seattle P-I's death are premature: http://www.seattlepi.com/
"It did snow 3 days ago, but since I'm a lonely shut-in who fears humanity, it affected my life very little." —@Ihnatko 
@RevFry Sorry, not following the musical dramedy movie scene as closely as I used to… which is NOT AT ALL.
Dragon Age tabletop RPG (boxed set, like in the old days!) up for pre-order, and as PDF! http://greenronin.com/2009... Will review.
@snipeyhead A bike with a face like an angry vagina dentata is not what I consider "badass". Kaneda's bike from Akira is badass.
If there's a bunch of movies named "10" or "Ten" next year, I'm visitin' Hollywood with a can of gasoline and a box of matches.
WTF? District 9, "9", and now "Nine"? http://www.apple.com/trailer... PICK ANOTHER NUMBER.
@patr1ck The first Die Hard is much better holiday spirit. I also like "Bad Santa" and "Scrooged" ("Staples?").
My Poul Anderson NESFA collections arrived. "Call Me Joe" (1957) bears some strong resemblances to Cameron's "Avatar".
@wisequark My Mophie (1st gen) has worked flawlessly. Worthwhile if you can get a good one.
@weatherangel Breathalyzers inspire stupid behavior (NSFW) http://www.tuckermax.com/archive...
@Gartenberg ANY lending's a major concession, prob. cost a few first-born. The rest is just back-end deals. Nothing wrong with the device.
@glennf @gartenberg Sounds like software speedup will solve most of Nook's issues. But using Android may make that impossible…
 Morally destitute she's a rotten kind of cute for a zombie prostitute 
@snipeyhead On the bright side, it's her last record "for a while". So she knows her abomination of a cover should earn her years in prison.
@DazeEnd @PolarBearFarm I'm still struggling with basic git functions (and adding to my shit.sh wrapper script).
Uh oh, Bing lost market share! Wait, Bing *had* market share? http://blog.seattlepi.com/microso...
@bobtiki Love The Thin Man. Sequels with dog & baby get annoying.
http://daringfireball.net/ feed was erroring out earlier. Now site's down. @gruber, make an announcement about our national emergency!
@natevw Are you on the old box or the WiMax? I bet there's no load on the old network anymore…
So @gruber's right about http://showtime-app.com/ - scrolling's bad even for a webapp, & on/off boxes take 2-3 seconds to change.
@nevenmrgan I never thought I'd say, "I miss Sprint". Unlimited high-speed data, cheap voice, $55/mo (only works in city, but I never leave)
@cjwl The desks aren't any better than an Amazon doordesk, but the 'zon gave us half-decent chairs.
Plus, Showtime, like a lot of these, doesn't keep the navigation controls at the top, so it's a bitch to use.
