So... today I go to a client to do some work on their ISA server rules and end up fixing their Cisco ASA ruleset instead... not quite what I planned for, but I guess it's all good experience at the end of the day. Never a dull day in this industry...

Where did the weekend go? Ah well, back to the grindstone tomorrow. On-site client visit tomorrow morning as well. Time to start winding down for the evening...

Power is still out. Looks like the grid took a hit. Our entire block is out. No answer from City Power call centre either. Long night ahead.

Storm has just about passed over us. Still enough atmospheric pyrotechnics to make me nervous, but the worst of the storm seems to be over..

@Brettski I'm using my @digichilli on the router at home & then my Afrihost (via PPPOE with Passthru) to run full speed to surf & play, etc.

@Brettski I've had no issues with them so far. Even been playing US World of Warcraft with better latency (sub-600ms) than I've had in ages.

Right. Witkoppen is a nightmare. Avoid at all costs. Malibonge and William Nicol are also bad. All in all, a traffic nightmare tonight.
