"from the hare krishna at uf facebook page: 1 cup almonds or walnuts (walnuts are cheaper, and I like them better) 1 cup extra-virgin olive oil (or oil of your choice) 1-1/4 cup water 1/2 cup nutritional yeast 3 tablespoons tamari soy sauce or Braggs. (Krishna Lunch uses Braggs) 3 tablespoons lemon juice (fresh or bottled, your choice. Lemon juice is NOT in the Krishna Lunch recipe, but I like it better. If you leave it out, add an equivalent amount of water) 1/4 teaspoon hing ( aka "asafetida"--optional) You can buy this in the bulk section at Wards or any Indian store--there's one on 34th Street, just off of Archer Road, next to the Goodwill Thrift Store. All other ingredients may be purchased at Ward's or Mother Earth.) Blend all the ingredients with half the water in a blender. When the nuts are pureed, add the rest of the water little by little. If the dressing is too thick, add more water, a tablespoon at a time. The dressing also thickens up if it sits for more than a half-hour" - Megan Taylor
