It turned out that the truck *had* delivered it, and the proof of delivery (on the form that they emailed me) was "MET GRL CUST" which stands for "Met girl customer". So my neighbor must have signed? So I did not have to wait for it. Now it's resting in an upright position for two hours before I can shove it in the hole in the wall.
