Headless Gnad Kicker
I have a cousin who is in her 30's and has a history of making poor decisions in every area of her life, and especially with regards to money and relationships. A week ago she travelled 9 hours by bus to go meet a guy she met on Facebook. Today she has announced their engagement. Good grief.

For what it's worth, he does seem to be a decent guy - he's older than her, settled, has his own place and a career, etc, and I do hope it works out for her. But at the same time... yeah.

She announced it on Facebook before she even called her parents (who have been supporting her physically and financially during the many times she has come crawling home with her tail between her legs) or her sisters. Her excuse "I didn't have time to call you." Okay.
