OK, this week's FLOSS Weekly came out better than I had imagined while I was taping it. Nice.
Too many crazy drivers likely out tonight. I'll stay home—might fire up UStream later.
I always look foreword to your live broadcasts. - Steven Rodriguez
@meontwitter Keep in mind @leolaporte is now adjusting for 9 time zone changes. I suspect he'll be offline for a bit while recovering.
Listening to FLOSS Weekly 76 (http://twit.tv/floss76) - my first time being the lead host (sans @leolaporte)

To backup my iPhone 3G, iTunes has to consult at least 5700 separate files in the MobileSync directory! No wonder it's slow sometimes.
Been watching a lot of Hulu lately. If I see that Intel "rock star" commercial one more time... I'm gonna scream.
But he invented USB! - Jason Huebel
Actually, the part I dislike is the crazy-eyed woman (bottom-center) at the end when they sing the Intel tune. She whips her head around to the camera and gives that axe-murderer look. Scary. ;-) - Jason Huebel
The ABC Sexy athlete commercial about put me over the edge. - Heather Solos
@crash8130 Not really a good commercial. I didn't see a single cubicle. Last time I was at Intel, everyone was in cubes, not shiny desks.
It's nice that the FLOSS Weekly for the 4th of July happens also to be number 76. Coincidence ... or CONSPIRACY? :)
today: driving portland to olympia to hang out with brother's family for the 4th, and driving back before dark. :)
thanks everyone who watched me #karaoke livestream tonight. maybe another session sunday or wednesday!
Oh gawd. I just butchered "Major Tom". So sorry. Next up - something I've sung before. #karaoke http://www.ustream.tv/channel...
nailed After the lovin... next up: New York New York, livestreaming karaoke at http://www.ustream.tv/channel...
So far: Ring of Fire and Comfortably Numb. Next up: After the Lovin' - watch it live! #karaoke http://www.ustream.tv/channel...
Trying to get this karaoke session started in this mostly empty bar (Broadcasting live at http://www.ustream.tv/channel...)
So far, at bar it's the bartender, the now-offduty-but-on-call waitress, me, and the Karaoke KJ. Wow.
This does not bode well. An hour before karaoke, and I'm the only person in the entire bar. Damn holiday weekends.
Hanging out at Cactus Jack's tonight for Karaoke - hoping to see Corinne again - http://www.ustream.tv/recorde...
@rbanffy "I'd say GPL forces people to be honest while BSD-ish doesn't." There's nothing dishonest about not sharing—just perhaps undesired.
GPL = socialism by force. BSD = socialism by invitation. Do you prefer honey or vinegar?

Convinced potential client yesterday that he was reinventing the wheel, thereby losing potential income. Integrity trumps cash.
@sendchocolate @garethgreenaway was in the chat room during the live taping, so I presume he was also listening to the show. :)
@mitchellmckenna I gain about 10-15 followers a day, but that still puts me about 13000 twitter users from the Big Guys.
today: working for $client hacking Perl, then Karaoke at Cactus Jack's later tonight. Maybe I'll see that girl from a few weeks ago... :)
