Librarians React to Amazon's New Lending Library: More Questions Than Celebrations - http://www.readwriteweb.com/archive...
While it is overpriced, Amazon cloud player is betting on Amazon's stability than anything else. How about 25 cents per gb instead?
Even though I think syncing with a cord is a sin, Calibre is a kickass way to get stuff onto my Kindle.
Will Google not releasing Honeycomb code delay the Amazon tablet? It would be pointless for Amazon to release a 2.2 tablet, and they won't.
The NYTimes paywall is a great wall built on a bed of sand.
It's a sad day, a year ago, I would already be running the latest Firefox. Haven't even looked at it yet. Chrome has won.
Amazon download is just an apk, wonder if their DRM/licensing scheme is stronger than Google's.
Trying out Amazon Android app store, just to get Angry Birds Rio. Notable: app download is not integrated into OS notifications.
Case in point, Samsung's new tablets won't out until June. Too late. If released in April, might have had a chance.
Tablet manufacturers still don't get what Apple gets right: Announce your products and release almost immediately. First to market wins.
It might not come out for months but it's coming; if BN had one, why not Amazon.
The Amazon Android tablet will be better and lighter than any devices out now or coming soon based on kindle's weight and portability.

It seems that Twitter is using IP to build its business model. These days you can't make money by that alone.
I now need a way to get articles from RIL to my Kindle. Instapaper wireless automated daily delivery is great, though not schedule-able.
The instant saving is the biggest time saver. No waiting for a sync when loading up an app for reading.
Read It Later Pro crushes all the Instapaper Android apps I've tried (and paid for). Background syncing, instant saving, push updates!
Plus the official client isn't great; most third party Twitter clients on Windows and Android are still better.
Bad move by Twitter, third party clients have made Twitter what it is; a platform, not social media or a network.
Saw an ad (on the side of a bus!) today foretelling the end later this year, wonder how Team-Nostradamus feels about that?
It's sad to say but the end-of-world-ers get a kick out of tragedies like the quake-tsunami.
like.fm is awesome - always wanted to be able to scrobble my listens from Grooveshark to last.fm.
#androidapp #idea Launch an app based on lock pattern.
If the iPad2 is more like a 3GS update, that'll be disappointing; because Apple will have a wifi model to market before anyone else.
You know they wouldn't have picked Oprah to give an award to Bansky.
Case in point: hiding the URL bar. If you have an Android phone, it's already hidden on stock browser.
