"That's the best revenge of all: happiness" almost nails it. Except it's reactionary. I'd rather go beyond revenge; that is, to accept that I want it but then let it go completely. Lofty? Naive? Self-righteous? Yes; that's the risk of asking my happiness to get off its ass and REALLY do something beyond ME.
