Lol -> "Rumours that they are planning a neighbouring building in the shape of a giant DNA helicase, to unzip the chromosomal research labs, have not been confirmed."

You know what'd be nice? A home sec that isn't a complete pillock. Wishful thinking perhaps... AJ please start listening to your advisers - if only to attempt to convince us that you have any regard for the will of the people....

Well I guess he'll have to resign then. I hear there is a position at the head of another government coming free in a few months time...

This is probably why we had all those regulations about testing and control of new drugs. Also probably why they shouldn't have been ignored thanks to the hype around swine flu

I'm waiting for someone to be blocked by logging on to a friend's xbox which is modded. The claim that they had no idea etc might hold water. US legal action and all...

Yes what he did was wrong and maybe some form of punishment is in order but seriously is jail time called for? I don't think he is a threat to society for pissing on a memorial. Offensive to some yes, poor judgement shown (but after drinking I can't blame him), buy certainly not worthly of jail time. Fine him, give him community service but have a bit of sense please people.

So they walk out, and RM get others in to do the jobs they refuse to do, and then they want an injunction to stop that. Power to strike must be balanced by power to sack (or here, replace).

The way I read this is that he seems to be saying that this is some sort of bad thing, when it is in fact the case. I am an above-average user and the past days have shown how two simple clicks on the wrong button can lead to a massive fuck up. Of course people need to upgrade and keep current from a feature and security standpoint, but the fact that people have been taught to on the whole be slightly fearful of just doing something if it ain't broke, at least without proper comprehensive backups, isn't necessarily a bad thing imho.

"The same MPs who only a few months ago claimed they did not understand the rules now suddenly have a detailed understanding of the expenses criteria. Bullshit. "

Sounds similar in method, if not ingredients, to a Welsh lamb stew I made a while back. Intending to give this one a go when I get around to cooking again. Sounds delish.

Surprised to see Harman going around saying things like "we may be the underdog". I thought the official line was that it wasn't in the bag for anyone yet.
