Friendfeed gets the scoop first cause y'all my people. Of course only like 3 of my FriendFeed people are in Louisville but whatever. SMC Louisville (of which I'm vice-president) and Block5 (the startup I'm working for) are throwing a big ass block party on July 21. Since I'm involved with both organizations it's kind of like I'm throwing it.

Except I don't have to pay for anything. Kick ass. There will be food, beverages, possibly a band, geek schwag giveaways, shoe giveaways (a client sells shoes so we're giving shoes away) and funnel cakes. That's right, funnel cakes cause that's how I roll.
