On March 16th, 2004 The Commitee on Government Reform published a database called "Iraq On The Record," which featured 237 pre-war and post-war statements on Iraq from the five top members of the Bush Administration. Henry Waxman requested the report, and it was introduced on the website by saying: many doubts have been raised regarding the Administration’s assertions about the threat posed by Iraq. Prior to the war in Iraq, the President and his advisors repeatedly claimed that Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction that jeopardized the security of the United States. The failure to discover these weapons after the war has led to questions about whether the President and his advisors were candid in describing Iraq’s threat. I also reformated and archived all of the data into my 18,000-line timeline, and so I figured that I'd republish it here to have all of the statements in one location. The footnotes explaining why each statement is misleading are linked at the bottom. - Mike
