Spent the day wading along a beach taking pictures of seals. Now heading to Lincoln for the Christmas market. Back to normal life tomorrow.
Experiencing sat-nav hell. Not sure why they're so popular. You can't beat proper maps. Enjoying the rain & the British countryside though.
Took off in the rain in Beirut and landed in sun in London. What's going on?!
At Beirut airport, moaning that none of the plug sockets work. Will be landing in London in around 7 hours.

@jengerson okay. well are you heading out and about? i'll probably be free around 1 for some lunch or a coffee.
@syrianews I wondered when you'd wake up ;)
@donatelladr there's nothing coming out from Twitter users in Damascus - it's amazing. are you there at the moment?
@josiensor fancy some food/coffee with myself and @jengerson around 1ish? we can celebrate your Telegraph success.
@syrianews I thought of you immediately. if I'd had your number I'd have given you a wake up call. sketchy details at the moment...
So all we know is this bus (possibly empty) exploded at a gas station in Damascus. Terrorism? Or just a guy having a smoke?
@rivets so all those films were lying? damnit! but you know what I mean - there's not enough evidence to start discussing culprits.
@shonaghosh yeah, g'won. i'll have plenty of reading time this month :)
@donatelladr can't you jump in a taxi and go be our eye-witness? :)
The blast in Somalia reminded me of Jehad Nga's photographs. If you've not seen his work before, you should http://www.jehadnga.com
