A privacidade do gajo que rouba o carro? Acho que é violada :P

LOL!

"Vatican City, Dec 19, 2009 / 12:23 pm (CNA).- The Vatican made a declaration on the protection of the figure of the Pope on Saturday morning. The statement seeks to establish and safeguard the name, image and any symbols of the Pope as being expressly for official use of the Holy See unless otherwise authorized."

Sounds like a joke. Any real news agency mentioning it? Maybe phrasing it differently? I mean, Catholic News Agency should be as "impartial" with news of the pope as the Korean Central News Agency with news of Kim Jeong-il.

"Skype is a proprietary Voice-over-IP program that uses a proprietary protocol. Skype is seducing free software users into using proprietary software, often two users at a time. Using proprietary phone software means that we can't be sure who is listening in, because we can't see the code. The Chinese government, for example, was found to have been spying on Skype conversations already, and they are probably not the only ones. We do not want to encourage the creation of a Skype compatible client, but instead, we want to encourage you to create, contribute to, or promote the use of free software replacements for Skype, such as Ekiga, and to encourage adoption and use of free VoIP, video, and chat protocols such as SIP and XMPP/Jingle."

"I absolutely love Photoshop. It’s by far the best image editor out there but unfortunately you have to pay a premium for it. For those of you who are looking for a cheap alternative to Photoshop, look no further. I have gathered what I think are some great alternatives that will meet most if not all of your photo editing needs and at a great price…FREE."

"2009 may not have lived up to everyone’s expectations, but there remain so many reasons to stay positive as we enter the new year. 2009 was transitional, as every part of the music industry struggled to find new footing. I truly believe that 2010 is going to be the year to plant our feet and make things happen."

"Independent artists are small business start-ups. Any entrepreneur will tell you that most new businesses go 5 years before leaving the red. That scenario isn’t for everyone, but fewer and fewer alternatives are left. It’s important that you know what you’ve signed up for."

"US-based terrestrial broadcasting giant Citadel officially filed for bankruptcy protection on Sunday, a move that will wipe out the holdings of common shareholders. The bankruptcy filing is part of a structured settlement with major stakeholders, one that will trade significant ownership shares for debt relief. The Chapter 11 was submitted in US Bankruptcy Court in Manhattan (Southern District of New York, reference 09-17422)."

"But what if certain music retailers just appeared around the holidays, like other seasonal businesses? That is exactly what HMV is doing in the UK, and now, bankrupted Zavvi is thinking along the same lines. Zavvi, now owned by the Hut Group and still surviving online, is investigating the physical possibilities for next year. "

"But whose fault is that exactly? Some bands are hapless victims of major label circumstance, burned by politics, incompetence, distracting mergers, or a simple corporate downsizing. But others simply lack the special elements required to break through - a singer with star potential, a real hit, a truly unique sound, or a tireless work ethic. That's right - ultra-successful artists are frequently tireless workers, regardless of what their carefully-crafted personas suggest. "

"The owners of about 1,200 local television stations have sued BMI, seeking for lower broadcast fees to reflect declining television viewership and advertising revenue. The lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court in Manhattan on Tuesday, demanded a "significant reduction" in fees as part of contract talks with Broadcast Music Inc."
