We have to because dad's got to be out early in the morning to work. An oilman's work is never done.
Made a big pot of baked potato soup tonight. We are, for the 1st time in my LIFE, opening gifts on Christmas Eve. I was the only dissenter.

Home safe. Slickest road we hit on the way home was Hwy 76, the 4 mile stretch north of Pernell. Wind is pretty extreme down here.
Almost to Elmore City. Taking forever. Roads are pretty slick down here.
Just witnessed an accident on I-35. Stopped to call cops. Have seen 2 more since starting this text.

Kevin is wrapping gifts, all the cooking is done...I'm going to bed. Supposed to get snow tomorrow, so we'll see how the traveling goes.
