now wait a second, please tell me if I'm wrong, that's a chart graphing change from a year ago on the y axis? If it DIDN'T look like that I would be shocked. Bad chart built for shock value. It needs to be remade for change in consumption vs gdp as a % or something for the data to be even relevant.

Geoff - I think what's scary is the part about consumption increasing 500% year-over-year for the past half-decade. They just put the circle in the wrong spot.

Well the issue is that the chart doesnt appear to account for gdp growth population growth or inflation. its going to appear at first glance crazy in both directions.
