To be fair to Obama, he's never actually said he was concerned about the poor (that was John Edwards). His presidential campaign was built on being obsessive about protecting and improving the lives of the middle class. He just referenced that in his brief speech Friday morning. He wants to get "the middle class" working again. So, in that respect, West is right. - Jason Toney
