This list is a work-in-progress & not complete. It's a combination of the 30 people in the recent "Top 30 FriendFeed Users Based on Google Ranking [Lifestream Blog - 6/27/08]" article and some people I know are heavy users. http://friendfeed.com/e...http://lifestreamblog.com/top-30-...

Note: Google page counts vary quite widely from day-to-day (so +/- 25% might not be unusual). Google also tailors searches based on your personal history, so everyone's searches are different. Also, people might be mentioned in the text (as opposed to using FriendFeed). These are searches for "personName site:friendfeed.com"

Note: This is everyone I could find with 5,000+ pages at Google. I welcome any other names people can find. My apologies if I've left you off this list

(4) Jason Calacanis 28,100 - An example of why this analysis doesn't work. Jason's mentioned in a lot of pages, but he's barely started using FriendFeed. If we could somehow compare the (a) post count (b) comments & likes, that might be a better measure of activity. The ranking algorithm might take soe tinkering because people like Veronica might be feeding a lot into FriendFeed but not using FriendFeed very much.

@Mitchell - you say the analysis falls down in some cases, but, like all statistical analyses and "top user" lists, it serves a purpose which is not dissimilar from friendfeed's own raison d'etre, in that it exposes us to a group of users, that we may not know, and that we may find interesting to add to our feeds.

*Random Popup Advertisement* Page 11 Bug. I know (atleast think I do) that it's hard to fix, but maybe they can allow you to 'export' your stuff? Into XML? That won't be hard...
- Yuvi
Yuvi: It'd be great to get an export of my entire FriendFeed - posts, comments, likes... :-)

@SlippyLane Good point. If we take this all with a serious "grain of salt". It's just another list... ;-0

So, I guess we should push for an "Export my FriendFeed" feature?
- Yuvi
Yuvi, Mitchell: I can't remember who suggested it to me, but Google Reader makes quite a nice repository for your friendfeed feeds, and it can cache an awful lot of posts.
- Slippy "Threadsbane" Lane
@Yuvi "Export my FriendFeed" sounds good to me, even if the "page 11 or 399 item" bug is fixed in the future.
- Mitchell Tsai
You know what Slippy? That's a fantastic idea. It won't cache the comments though. Nor the Likes. and there's no way to get Comments/Likes for an article when you know it's URL.
- Yuvi
Thanks Susan. Sorry I forgot to check your name. :-( I'll rearrange this list as soon as my daily "edit-comment" limit is refreshed. P.S. I see 11,000 for (a) "Susan Beebe" and (b) Susan Beebe searches. It's an example of how google searches are different for everyone & hard to replicate (a pain for my friends who are SEO experts).

I don't even know how to start computing mine.. unfortunately, "J. Phil" isn't as unique as I hoped it would be.
