Unique Article Wizard hands down. I use both. UAW has generated nearly twice as many links as Article Marketing Automation over the 2 months that I have been using them.

Oh? Umm.. well in terms of number of links I suppose that UAW does the job, but I heard that links from AMA are more powerful because they're sent to blogs instead of to directories?

Finally started working on my first eBook. 30DC+ lessons are really helpful.. One question, how is with using some pictures in ebook that you get on the net, can I put them in the eBook?. I'm talking about step by step exercises pictures.

I think that a lot of pictures can't be used, unless you modify them more than 50% so they don't look the same. They are protected by copyright. Search for free royalty free images or Creative Commons pictures. But Creative Commons you also have to be careful as some need acknowledgment of the source, and some cannot be used for commercial purposes

I recommend sxc.hu, lots of stock photos, most with royalty free lienses. Just contact the auhor before using them (specially for commercial purposes ;))

Take a look at this site. There are many images you can use without any need for attribution. Each image clearly states if you can just use it, have to contact the owner for ok or whether it is fully commercial: http://www.sxc.hu/index.html

If you read the terms on sxc.hu, it says you can use the images on your website, but not on anything that you intend to sell. So like Jorge said, contact the owner first to get his/her approval. I was wondering the same thing for an eBook of my own.

Mr. Ed Dale, Ed, Ed, Ed, Ed, Ed, Ed. I just listened to the 1st video on 30DC. But Ed you godda listen to me Ed because I'm an authority on this for real so listen up. A lot of people can not hear you. They mentioned it many times last year. I guess you choose to ignore this. Thinking they are lying or they are complainers. I CAN'T HEAR YOU

YOU NEED TO HANDLE THIS Ed TERMEDELY. When people can't hear you it's more upsetting then you realize. I notice people are extremely polite about it so you don't think it's a big deal. It truly is upsetting to people. AND IT HURTS YOU. People drop out of your program because THEY CAN NOT HEAR YOU. I got about half way through 30DC last year and I couldn't take it anymore. I wouldn't sign up for 30DC+ only because I couldn't hear you. If you want to make people happy YOU HAVE TO PROJECT Ed. You have to project your voice into the microphone. It will make people happy and it will mean a great deal more income for you. Please take this as a help flow Ed.

Russ _ i actually take the audio section of my audio very seriously. Now live from time to time I get of mike but everything else I do I take the time to master to ensure the best audio levels I can.

Russ, I understand where you're coming from, but I'm someone who also knows about these things and I have never had a problem hearing Ed. And I don't have any fancy equipment or even a fancy computer. Usually watch the videos or live feed on my 5 year old laptop with a Plantronics headset....

...During the live show the other night Dan was a bit louder and echoey at times but Ed has always come across loud and clear. Anyone who is having problems with hearing the audio, I would suggest first looking at your audio set-up, and make sure you listen through headphones. Computer speakers can often be the culprit.

I'm not saying anyone is lying that they can't hear, but there are so many settings and other things that could have caused it - if others can hear fine then it's a sign that the problem isn't Ed's end. I'm semi-deaf from years of wearing industrial size headphones with loud music blaring through them so if I can hear him it can't be his settings!

Sometimes it is a little distorted, but I think its just the technology. I could here everything fine the other night.

We've had this discussion several times before. E.g. http://ff.im/1Hr9R. I find Ed's videos and audios to have low sound levels. I resolve that by using earphones. Same laptop, Dan's videos/audios are perfect (all Imm Edge in fact). I suggested that Ed post a pdf transcript at least for all his TEACHING videos/audios. The marketing/announcement stuff doesn't need pdf. The pdf transcripts are searchable, storable locally on hard disk, and can be read through in 10 minutes, compared to watching for 40 mins.

Though I have never had trouble hearing Ed with my headset, I do know that I have had the volumes at the upper levels..... Just like on TV you would not want to have a set maximum... some people may want to Crank it up and do housework! I am not discounting that some may have audio issues, it would seem to me to be prudent to provide a much higher than needed Volume and the rest of us can turn our volume down - Mark

The issue I had with the audio was that Dan was so much louder that I couldn't hear Ed when I turned the sound down for Dan (who was otherwise blasting in my ears). Also, people's hearing inevitably changes as they get older (even if they don't need hearing aids), so it's great if we can provide audio that can be turned low for young people with good hearing but plenty of room to be turned up by other people.

You know what it is. A lot of people hear Ed just fine (so they say above) and I've seen this before. So I believe he must be speaking loud enough (since many people hear him fine) (so it's not Ed's fault) but I could swear some of us, our computers are not picking up his audio.for whatever reason. Get everybody elses audio just find, no problem, but with 30DC all of a sudden certain...

Mitja, I use both AMA and Unique Article Wizard, which is a similar service. AMA submits articles to blogs, and UAW to article directories. UAW gives nearly twice the NUMBER of backlinks as AMA. Some say that the Google weighs AMA links higher because they come from blogs rather than article directories. AMA is ~$50/mo. and UAW $70/mo. Review both and see what fits your needs best (Ideally both!) Worth the money IMHO :)

I have AMA and have over 2400 backlinks in a couple of months from 14 articles at the moment. Onearticle has been reprinted 117 times so far in unique formats. Well worth the money

Hosting Question - Are people still using Hostgator for hosting or is something else better?
I use Hostgator and I think it is really great for its price.

I use Hostgator and never had a problem with them. They also have great customer service. In my experience, I had 2 problems (my fault not theirs) that I couldn't figure out on my own how to fix. I sent in a ticket and they fixed the problem for me within just a few hours.

Linda, if you are using WPD, go for Hostgator, it doesn't always work well with Go Daddy etc. For $10/month, unlimited domains, sites, bandwidth, storage. What's not to like :) However, strongly advice to purchase your domains elsewhere. I've been using Go Daddy for domain purchases for years, and they're great.

you can outsource it on elance.com, rentacoder.com, getafreelancer.com or the like. Getting a good outsourcing company is a bit complicated, but it is a great way to get professional results in areas where you have no expertise :)

I love the 30DC+ videos and I really want to step in and doing all Ed is talking about, but I just can't start making my own product, I don't know what and how etc. It is so damn hard :(
Mitja, that's exactly why Ed talks about getting in your "hours". You need to just choose a creating method, and start doing it. Even if it feels unnatural and hard to start with. After you've tried a few times, even if you don't release it to the public, it will get easier and easier. Practice makes everything easier.

I am not part of 30DC+ but I have a partnership with 2 other guys, and we have just about created 2 products for the dating niche. PDF's and videos are the order of the day, and they are based on what has been selling well on clickbank. They will be on sale by mid April, I will keep you posted. Anyone else interested in a JV? preferably UK as it is where I am situated... but I'm open to suggestions...

Mitja, if you hang out in forums in your niche, take note of some of the questions that keep being repeated in the posts. Then create a product with the answer to that question and you are good to go;)).All thats left to do after is put your product link in your forum signature, and give great advice out when you see related posts. cha ching!!:).
