@MDBenson Hmm... Weird. I'll have a fiddle tomorrow and see if I can reproduce it
*wave* from the Hammersmith Apollo. Looking forward to @jimmycarr
@MDBenson Probably easier to store all under one share, then have each user's share/ a symlink to their dir under that share? Should work
@ripienaar Thanks for the rec. Have been using Vienna for years, but the lack of GReader support is now a showstopper for me.
Trying out #NetNewsWire as a desktop feed reader, primarily because it syncs with Google Reader. Wish Vienna could do the same.
Really tempted to get a Mini 2440 ARM eval board - for $110 inc shipping from CN who can complain? Could use it for my NTP server project.
Argh! Google Reader OPML import doesn't support nested folders.
Americans eat an average of 80kg of meat every year. 80% of Indians are vegetarian. (just heard on Sky News)
Hmm... Choices, choices - should we take the train or drive to the Apollo tomorrow night?
Seems like Thursday is the new Friday - barely anyone at $client offices today
Ah, good old Tesco special offers - Hovis bread @ £1 each or £3 for 3. Bargain! http://yfrog.com/4ek67aj

@tmorello Are they all for you, or are you going to share? :)
Wonder what chance there is of 'Killing in the Name' being the UK Christmas number 1? Gets my vote, that's for sure. #ratm
Exactly a week until @depechemode at the O2. Missed them in South Africa in the 90s, so can't wait!
Awesome cheap ARM system -http://cgi.ebay.com/ws... /via @mrbill
I have a sneaking suspicion the automatic passport scanners at Gatwick are powered by a Commodore 64. Slow doesn't begin to describe them...
Trying out Byline on the #iPhone (oh, and Google Reader *shudder*)
HMV at Gatwick now have the black #Wii with Sports Resort and Motion Plus for £127.65, until 10 Dec.
@ripienaar Looks good to me - strong offline support is pretty much a dealbreaker - want to read my feeds without a data connection
Trying to find a good RSS reader for the #iPhone. May end up using one of the apps that syncs to Google Reader (Byline? Reeder?). Urgh.
Kudos to @linode for the new London DC. I've been a customer for nigh on five years and have no hesitation on recommending them.
Checking how well an Atom 330 CPU Ion chipset system handles HD content with #MythTV. Seems promising...
Just came across http://winaoe.org - ATA over Ethernet driver for Windows (GPL)
@ripienaar I've played with the free version of MotionX but didn't know it did offline maps too. Or perhaps that's only in the paid-for ver?
@ripienaar Haven't tried it too much offline yet though and the #OpenStreetMaps content is a little variable. Still, worth a try.
Trying out #OffMaps on the #iPhone - seems like a good way to save on roaming data charges but still have map access
@barryirwin Indeed. It's still a major PITA replacing drives and restoring from backup though.
@barryirwin Based on my recent experiences, I'd be afraid of #Seagate, very afraid... Not laptop drives, mind you.
@highvoltage Even worse - I think NTFS is the best (MacFuse and NTFS-3g on the Mac if you don't have Snow Leopard, which has r/w support)
A week until @jimmycarr at the Apollo and no tickets have arrived yet. A pox on you #Ticketmaster
