the hell it shouldn't bill. i'd guess he probably lives in a household or neighborhood where abuse or violence is common. my mom has similar issues. she slugged the mailman once because he came up behind her and she wasn't expecting him to be there.

ankle support is wildly overrated, I've never really understood how high tops = no or less turned ankles. that said, I wouldn't usually hoop in lows, I prefer mids. those adidas A3's that tim duncan was rocking a few years ago were my favorite shoe to ball in.
