Sometimes I don't get it. We spent trillions to send people to the moon just because we wanted. More trillions on pointless wars. More trillions drilling for oil. Even more trillions bailing banks that screwed up royal. But we can't spend trillions on ways to harvest energy from a nearly unlimited ball of gas in order to save ourselves.
I think the problem is that we do 'get it', but we are in denial about the real truth, because that would make us disgusted at the actions of powerful men.

It's been paycut after paycut this year and I'm now earning less than half the Australian average salary, and it's getting harder to pay for things.
