Talking Heads "Once in a Lifetime" is going around and around in my head.
Houston, you call this snow? My Norwegian cohorts would be laughing at the concept. Looks to me like a diety had bad dandruff :)
Snow in Houston? Phooey! At least my plane arrived in Orlando, just hope ATC lets us through and the weather let's me get home.
uh-oh, fight breaking out between very upset father and airline luggage handlers who brought strollers up completely drenched.
Pilot's telling us that we're in for a wild ride. No service even in first class for at least the first hour if not the entire flight.
Very good #richwebexp #richweb this year. Beautiful location, great attendees, insanely fab speakers. Thanks to all for a great event!
Missing out on today's #richwebexp content in favor of a little more rest and then traveling home. Last event of the year for TiredMols.
@mrjawright Opera smells like strawberries.
the rain is on the roof / hurry high/ butterfly / clouds all pass my way / i know why / the sky is bright, a-um / heaven.
@claireleah Thanks for being at RWE #rwexp Intellectual Property matters.
CSS for Developers workshop really well attended, great questions, super smart audience. Open Web session good, but less attendees.
I really meant it in an affectionate way. I apologize to the person I offended. But the message still stands: Stop sniffing my browser!
I think I upset someone in my Open Web session when I asked if anyone was sniffing for UA strings - I said "Stop that!" person left #richweb
Okay, off to teach CSS to developers. Like, Java guys. And I mean guys. There are maybe 10 women at the entire conf, alas. #richwebexp
Excellent start to Rich Web Experience with Dylan Schiemann's state-of-web "What now?" keynote and an enjoyable dinner/social. #richwebexp
Dylan reviewed browser agendas/economics and said that @Opera was the most diversified, which it is. Extra points for that ;)
Must go do real work. Dojo toolkit's Dylan Schiemann's keynote tonight is entitled "Now What?" CuriousMolsWantsToKnow
@danrubin It makes me sad, though. At one time it was topically relevant AND hella fun. Now I wonder if it's either ::sigh::
@luxuryluke are you a beer snob now? ;)
@eriiicam What's the A. stand for? :D
From Chimp to Pimp - visual evolution of HTML5 via my twisted @opera teammates @brucel and @patrick_h_lauke http://lifehacker.com/5416100...
@davedelaney if @simplebits hasn't been in touch - ping him. He's looking for event space in Nashville, I figured you'd be the go-to guy.
@ppk Yeah I hear that "enough traveling." I'm at SXSW for exactly one day this year, to do a solo talk and then fly off to MIX.
@Gruven_Reuven I know, but alas, no breakfast after 11:30 a.m. here in the massive hotel complex where I am for a conference. SadMols
@dutchcelt Yes, and there are three large gas barbecues out by the pool, so we can cook a geek feast!
@aburaglia that was very sweet, really. You can make fabric jokes about me any time ;)
I, like many others, cannot handle the SXSW craziness any more. Mols is gettin' too old for that level of intensity. @ppk one day is enough.
@mezzoblue "coffee snobs for beer" - is that because "beer snob" is somewhat of an oxymoron? Or because you are, in fact, a coffee snob? ;)
@mattmay Touching up your passport photo is cheating! It takes all the fun out of it. Mine is 9 years old, when I had short hair. Classic.
@SailorJ no, at the rather posh Loew's Portofino. Oh so faux, although I'm pretty sure the swans toddling around are real.
