After Mass, I just saw all the second graders (my son amongst them) on their way to the First Holy Communion retreat, and they all stopped, waved, and said, "Hi, Mrs. McClatchy." Such innocence- it was the sweetest and brought a big smile to my face!

Off to Elizabeth Ministry meeting- writing petitions and planning for the Mass of Rememberance, for anyone who has lost a child.

I am SO excited....went to a local thrift shop today, and found a stack of prayer books from the '30's, a Sunday missal for the Latin Mass, a catechism from 1891, and a Padre Pio book for 50 cents! I controlled myself, and did not get any of the gorgeous statues that were there. I must go on treasure finds more often!!
