If you want to see a science project head to Brooklyn. Every single spot on the sidewalk and subway is marked with wads of discarded chewing gum. First thing I noted when visiting a friend. We traveled to Manhattan, much less wads of chewed gum. We figured it was from the Brooklyn people visiting.
