Caroline, we should have bought a lottery ticket yesterday. The statistical odds of running into that many nutty/hostile people in a single day is astronomical.

Lucretia, difficult economic times sometimes bring out the worse in people. With 11% unemployment in Los Angeles, too many people are living on edge (with genuine worries).

I agree with Anna. Some people just have an overblown sense of self-entitlement. Caroline and I ran into quite a few of those people yesterday. I chalk it up to a statistical anomaly.

Caroline - an overall sense of entitlement. I see people who expect certain things because they exist. Really bizarre (or more like insecurity and lack of self confidence but that's a whooooole 'nother topic for another day)
