Basically a full orchestra: flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, two trumpets, horn, trombone, tuba, snare drum, string section. The lower stuff (bassoon, cello, trombone) doesn't seem to come out as well with this MIDI setup.

Yeah, I did hear the bassoon and forgot to include but you're right, the cello, gets overshadowed a bit. Picking up the motif by each section is very clear.

"The final was produced by first using Photomatix to HDR 3 bracketed shots (this "original" is the center exposure), then imported into LR for crorps and tweaks. Next into PS to add 2 textures and alter the levels slightly. I did not change the color palette, the color change was due to the textures."

I would normally say I don't like brussel sprouts, but today the Facebook culinary team combined them with bacon, and they were amazing. Maybe I just like bacon, but they may have changed my mind about the vegetable.

Beti is singing songs in the kitchen, and I'm finding them and playing them from the office through Sonos. I'm kind of the human prototype for this technology right now. ;)

Midomi does the first part very well, but the second part is not automated for obvious reasons :)

Well, first of all you can't automate the purchase part. Midomi lets you buy the discovered song directly from their app though. And, even if the purchase part is resolved--assuming that all the songs you hum or sing is in your iTunes library--you would still want to choose from several discovered songs with similar traits. For example, I just hummed the music "Desafinado" into my midomi, and it brings me several versions. I wouldn't like it if it just started playing the first one on their list.
