nah, not at all. Problem is Secondlife is a platform in the first place. Why not evaluate it for what it is? Compare it with Croquet, Project Wonderland or whatever..., this would be more fair

time consumption is simply the manual behavior. Get an auto refresher and save a micro second. ;) then again, if you want to remain aware, you have to read everything!

I hope they have automated the calibration step. I wrote the mouse driver for the ISCAN eyetracker in the demo above in my previous job years ago. Funny that at that time, I thought that in a couple of years, we all will be using eye trackers. hasn't happened yet.

oh you wrote the driver! do you know any eye tracker that's on the market/available for normal customers? I checked out tobii.com but their hardware seems to be for scientific research and larger projects only

Hmmm - imho the addition of the "World of SL" feed doesn't work for me in this room :-( I liked the room because I'd find postings that other like-minded people found interesting enough to share them here. Now it looks like a random SL news feed (which I have elsewhere). What do you think?

Louis, you are SO funny! Actually, though, we saw a lot of kid movies with one of them a baby... I'm darn good at nursing in a theater. Did baseball games that way too. It's fine for a "kid" movie like a Pixar (stick to atinees).

@LouisGray: Have you check to see if the theaters in your area have a 'mothers day'? It's pretty common now on a Tues or Wed morning to show movies with the lights on and strollers welcome. They let new mothers (and dads) take the kids to a movie and the kids can cry, scream, etc and not disturb anyone.
