RT @jcbragg Great minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss events. [Wm adds: and great people make great ideas reality]
RT @BrandonSandrson My agent's thoughtful (and, in my opinion, accurate) ponderings on the closing of Kirkus: http://brilligblogger.blogspot.com/2009...

The Google Groups I'm part of are now showing up as Contacts in Google Wave.
RT cause I was there with @jcbragg at Chiang Mai Thai in Minneapolis, MN http://gowalla.com/spots... [I had a pretty decent Pad Thai]
I'm kinda surprised that Amazon didn't buy Kirkus. Yes, user reviews, but the editorial reviews section adds some credibility.
@mikecane I thought it was the blood of young novelists mixed with vodka and powdered vellum.
RT @howardtayler The indoor-outdoor thermometer reads "Please bring my sensor back inside, you monsters."
@sarah_mn I thought I didn't have claustrophobia issues until I was stuck on non-moving Bay Area Rapid Transit train in a tunnel for 45 min.
@lizgiel I am using the new settings. However, with everything set to only friends it may not matter -- hard find my profile anyway.
Dear Facebook: Ha, ha, ha -- good try. Also: allow me the option of not making my friends list and pages public.
@lizgiel From the apps privacy page: Public to all info = "Name, Profile Picture, Gender, Current City, Networks, Friend List, and Pages."
@lizgiel And if you do a preview of your public to everyone profile, those exact pieces of info pop up. Even when all else = only friends.
RT @joepemberton Nielsen's 3 Screen report is out. 35% uptick in online TV watching over last year. http://blog.nielsen.com/nielsen...

Why Google is still rather "not evil" -- Google docs now has an export all. Data portability is a must in this day and age.
The sky is a suffused with a rather unholy color of pink. Like from the Cat in the Hat book.
It's days like today where I'm happy to be a bus commuter (except for that one time when the heat was out). #faux-snowmageddon
@dwax There's a good way of tasting like carpet? <wink>
@bcollinsmn Could we ditch the Wolves instead?
@quick13 Cardamom is my favorite spice for holiday desserts. My mom makes this awesome Finnish cardamom bread. And it's good in cocoa.
@toddpetersen Cool. Want me to transport it to Google Wave?
Dear alumni associations: how about cutting affinity deals with some web services companies? I'm not interested in credit cards, insurance.
@simonowens Pratchett rocks -- his Discworld novels contain some seriously (and hilariously) sly socio-cultural commentary.
RT @hotpepper Dear Google: Please integrate Google Bookmarks and starred items in Google Reader. Thanks. [Wm: and hurry up Chrome for OSX]
RT @juliaschrenkler "content sounds like pork bellies" /dick meyer on how the word content sounds like a commodity #kdmc [Wm: buy futures?]
@juliaschrenkler Yes, indeed. And unfortunately a lot of content comes just as frozen solid as pork bellies.
