"EDISON — It was the traffic ticket that put a despised multimillion-dollar state program in limbo. En route to a mall the day after Thanksgiving last year, Janice Bollmann was flagged by a red-light camera in Edison after getting through an intersection one-fifth of a second too late. Infuriated by the $140 ticket in a "safe corridor," the Tewksbury woman set out to learn more about the cameras sprouting like dandelions across New Jersey, levying millions of dollars in fines on thousands of drivers. It turned out the township was also late — in inspecting the cameras."

They just put up a whole bunch of these in Jersey City. Hate them. They seem to take shots randomly and the flash is highly distracting.
