Enigmail adds OpenPGP message encryption and authentication to your email client. It features automatic encryption, decryption and integrated key management functionality. Enigmail requires GnuPG (www.gnupg.org) for the cryptographic functions. Note: GnuPG is not part of the installation. The addon offered here supports Windows, Linux (32 and 64-bit) and Mac OS X. Thunderbird does not anymore have the ability to reduce the display size of header pane to one line (as in Thunderbird 2.0). This add-on adds a symbol to compact and expand the message header plane. The compact header view mode can be set to either one or two lines. A customization dialog can be opened for the toolbar in the header pane (right mouse button context menu) to change the displayed buttons and their style. (Do not install this add-on at the same time as the CustomizeHeaderToolbar add-on https://addons.mozilla.org/thunder...) The shortcut "SHIFT+h" can be used to toggle between expanded and compact header view. This add-on integrates the functionality of "RSS Linkify Subject" by Alex Dedul (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US...). There is also an option to display only the email addresses in the compact header view. If you want to use the latest version, look for it at the beta channel. Silvermel is offered as bundle - it installs "Silvermel and Charamel XT" extension to support font uppercase and letter spacing for labels on Firefox's sidebars, Thunderbird's folder pane, Thunderbird's Address Book and Thunderbird's Account Configuration window. The extension also colorizes the url bar according to security state. The extension only applies if Silvermel is the used theme.
