Anyone else having trouble finding a niche? I just dont trust what I am looking at on Market Samurai (Not the information but if I am evaluating it correctly). I've drawn up another list of Markets and will try again. What do you have for the OCI? My percentages are really low.
I feel your pain. I have a nice set of keywords at the market and mega niche level. Whittling it down to a microniche has been difficult. Depending on my niche, I've run the gambit from the low teens to the high nineties. Unfortunately those would also look horrible w/ SEO; so, I've been going back to find better niches. - Yeren from twhirl
I had some luck and found a nice phrase to work on, but I did see many markets heavily saturated. You will definitely have to think outside of the box in some of these to get a working micro niche - Jorge Blanco
i found one i like that has a lot of hits. the only problem is that i dont know how profitable it is. my site still isnt up in google argh!!! - Patrick
I suggest you go over to Wordtracker sign up for free trial (they had a free recently) Then sign up for the$1 trial when first expires gives you a month to dig deep (use the digging spade icon in Keyword Universe.)Take keywords suggestions found in Keyword Universe over to oh heck the other part...keep digging... - Ruth Howard
Catherine, just keep working with Market Samurai and watching GuruBob's video on niches... eventually you will begin to get it. Look for horizontal lines that are green/yellow. - Cynthia Kasper
Something I have found to be a powerful tool is Google insights. You can just type in a keyword and near the bottom it gives you reccomendations. If it says breakout down at the bottom, near a term..it means it has been searched 5000% more than your keyword you typed in. Just keep clicking phrases under break out untill you find a micro niche. Yes, I certainly am. At least I am getting PLENTY of experience with Market Samurai! - sanjeev bhadresa
I have the same problem, it's really not that easy to find a niche that will work out, but we try and we try, and we try. - Paul Sarcia from twhirl
I recommend you listen to the Ed Dale and Guru Bob podcast on day 23, this is what they discuss in that podcast, and give some great advice;) - Elliot Webb

I have a quick question .. the market samurai link. Are they still offering the 40 day trial for us? The link only brings me to the homepage.
Yes,I just downloaded mine a few days ago. Afterwards the cost for the full version is higher now that the challenge is over, but for now it's still a free triel. - Yeren from twhirl
Doh, I didn't notice that it's auto 40 day trial. Thanks for the quick reply! - Vasha
I bought my copy a while back when it was in its 2nd discount stage....a bi shabby ATM but the upcoming features will be VERY snazzy... - Alex Melkonian
