"flickr doesnt allow bit.ly either. they probably are on a black list by some providers for being reported as spam once upon a time. craigslist, flickr, even some email providers will cross reference links with 3rd party providers to verify links. did u try another service like trim or awesm to see if craigslist allowed those links through?"
