@KitchenParade That made me laugh. Going to have to get elk bones for my dogs.
Pilot: "We are #25 in line for take off." Ouch
For the Lambda Lounge user's group... Remember tonight's meeting is NOT at the Appistry office. See here... http://lambdalounge.org/2009...
RT @lmacvittie: Okay, Twitter Times might be cool: http://twittertim.es/ We'll see ...
I wonder how Cubs fans feel today with all the talk of the Yankees' 9 year drought finally being over.
Watching @al3x keynote talk on minimalism at #strangeloop. Great talk
Really enjoyed the presentations at #strangeloop today. Thanks to @puredanger for putting it all together.
Thanks to woot! For the USB lights I got at the #strangeloop conf. Unfortunately my wife doesn't like them :( http://yfrog.com/6zjz5j

The B&N Nook looks good. As a Kindle2 owner, I wish I had the EPUB and PDF support. Can't wait to see one in the stores.
@ruv We (Appistry) actually had 5 Mac minis stacked in a rollable suitcase that we would take to customers sites for demos.
Got to love the emergency row seat. http://yfrog.com/2862596955j

As I stand waiting for a flight bombarded by TVs and the PA system, I think the anti-eutopian, Max Headroom future has come true.
There really isn't anything quite as boring as being stuck in an airport for four hours.
About to fly to BWI. I'm on the same flight as 15-20 WWII veterans. People in the terminal clap/cheer as they walk by. Very cool.
Trying out Tweetie 2 on the iPhone. Looks like a very nice update, only slightly annoyed at the update fee from the original Tweetie.
@bensons Any reference to Dr Who gets a +1 from me
It's amazing how quickly you forget to add semicolons after programming statements after spending time in Python or Ruby.
@Beaker That sequence of tweets was actually pretty amazing to watch
@hospadam The wave was titled "Enable your Google Wave account"
@hospadam I found my "upgrade invite" in the list of waves my sandbox's account. So, I am guessing all sandbox accts can be updated.
Cool, just upgraded my Google Wave sandbox account to the "real" beta invite.
My MapReduce talk is all prepared and I'm looking forward to tomorrow's Lambda Lounge to present.
Played with Waze iPhone app today. Looks like nice balance of car navigation with social input. Hope it reaches critical mass to be useful.
Response by @unclebobmartin to @spolsky 's "Duct tape developer" nails the balance between perfection and production http://blog.objectmentor.com/article...
Looking up the latest in distributed administration tools. I type "chef puppet" into Google. You can guess what I got back. *facepalm*
Interesting to read about the REST-* project http://www.jboss.org/reststar and what Roy Fielding thinks about it http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group...
Reading through Lucene source examples from the current distribution. Feeling urge to refactor their 100+ line methods.
