Trying to map and reduce my 45 minute MapReduce introduction to a 5 minute lightning talk. No luck yet, took me 2.5 min just to say "Hello"
I am going to presenting a MapReduce lightning talk at CloudCamp STL. Conference Info http://www.cloudcamp.com/...
@Scobleizer I've been reading Too Big To Fail by Sorkin. Very interesting to get an inside look at how the financial crisis went down.
My son Brennen is going to be on the field at the ACC championship game tonight helping hold the giant flag during the national anthem.
@ddbrown Do you really see a Cyber Monday effect or is it just marketing hype?
I really like advances in NoSQL systems, but it is also good to see it from the other side... http://www.youtube.com/watch... (Very funny)

Excited to find out that my Kindle2 now can support screen rotation and native PDFs. I guess I have to thank B&N's Nook for the competition
Just hooked up a Magic Mouse to my iMac. Really like it so far. I don't understand the negative comments I have been hearing.
Haven't tweeted much lately. I have been consumed with cloud-based distributed storage, company calls, and incorporating git to my work flow
Finally made the time to look into git and github today. Very impressed so far. i see what everyone has been raving about.

I wonder how Cubs fans feel today with all the talk of the Yankees' 9 year drought finally being over.
Watching @al3x keynote talk on minimalism at #strangeloop. Great talk

Really enjoyed the presentations at #strangeloop today. Thanks to @puredanger for putting it all together.
The B&N Nook looks good. As a Kindle2 owner, I wish I had the EPUB and PDF support. Can't wait to see one in the stores.
@ruv We (Appistry) actually had 5 Mac minis stacked in a rollable suitcase that we would take to customers sites for demos.
Got to love the emergency row seat. http://yfrog.com/2862596955j

As I stand waiting for a flight bombarded by TVs and the PA system, I think the anti-eutopian, Max Headroom future has come true.
There really isn't anything quite as boring as being stuck in an airport for four hours.
About to fly to BWI. I'm on the same flight as 15-20 WWII veterans. People in the terminal clap/cheer as they walk by. Very cool.
Trying out Tweetie 2 on the iPhone. Looks like a very nice update, only slightly annoyed at the update fee from the original Tweetie.
@bensons Any reference to Dr Who gets a +1 from me
It's amazing how quickly you forget to add semicolons after programming statements after spending time in Python or Ruby.
