"After much effort, arguing, designing, and programming, our front page is now better than ever! We’ve taken a close look at how our community interacts and made improvements to make new art even easier to discover. Quick-loading thumbnails and a faster, more reliable search are just a couple of ways we’ve made browsing an even more enjoyable experience." - Jason Wehmhoener via Bookmarklet
I guess because I'm not on deviantART every day, it seems like they are always doing something mind-bendingly awesome over there. Every time I visit, I am wowed. - J·Phil·Glockner
nice. i get so jealous looking at that site. i wish i could design/draw that well. love the web layout and color too. they always raise the bar. - Chris Harris
It would be cool if dA content could be shared in FF...a la flickr, SmugMug, etc. - JA Castillo

“Is it possible to create Fluid specific CSS styles, so I could (for example) highlight all things I said on FriendFeed. Pretty much like the custom style sheet option in Safari.”
July 23 at 6:38 am - Link
Yes it is possible, but not convenient. Go to your SSB in Finder, right-click to show package contents, then go to Contents/Resources and edit default.css. Save and reload your SSB. - Lars Trieloff
cool! gotta try it asap. thanks Lars - Alexander Kucera
Let me know if you want to see my default.css for making FriendFeed sidebar-friendly. - Lars Trieloff
I definitely would be interested Lars. Unfortunately, FriendFeed doesn't offer specific enough selectors to emphasize just certain users or just my own posts. - Alexander Kucera
hey guys just a couple of notes. This default.css file is def. a good way to achieve what you are looking for now... but keep in mind that this is not 'public api' and may change at anytime in the future... there's no guarantee of backwards compat for this. The good news is that a 'real' Userstyles feature is in the works, and will prolly appear sooner rather than later. peace. - Todd Ditchendorf
oh.. just remembered. Scratch that. I dont recommend the default.css approach at all. the default.css file will not survive an SSB software update. Also, I will not be adding that as a feature. Instead, I'd like to spend that time developing a true, polished Userstyles feature. just a heads up. - Todd Ditchendorf
Hi Todd, I am aware of the issues with default.css and I am looking forward to real userstyles that survive an update. - Lars Trieloff
cool. just wanted to make sure everyone knew the pitfalls... so nobody lost data unexpectedly. I might try to implement userstyles this weekend and sneak them into a release for sunday.... if not, soon after. - Todd Ditchendorf
Hi Todd, yes, I also was aware of the issue. But it is a great hack for now nevertheless. Lars, how about that sidebar style for FriendFeed? - Alexander Kucera
userstyles would be great... you can kinda use it already by loading it as a userscript but it's not optimal. - David Bittencourt

Seeing how Fluid SSBs are very independent from each other, I doubt this will ever be integrated in Fluid itself. There might be 3rd party apps that do that, though. - David Bittencourt
oops... didn't see your reply there Todd... - David Bittencourt
I could see having a Fluid app menu bar icon, with a short list of the current menu bars running. Though I see your point, David, on how SSBs are supposedly wholly different. - Colin Devroe
