Thanks Enrique, I'll post some more soon. They are a little more obvious than these ones. As Luke points out; without being able to look closely it's impossible to tell. He's right; but up close it's more obvious. I'll upload the originals to Picasa later, and then you'll be able to zoom in with any photo viewer and see for yourselves. I can't believe how many people liked these. A few people have reposted them already. Thanks!

Excellent pictures - how long did it take you to scan the photographs into Photoshop and then edit them? The only pencil that has come into contact with these "drawings" is the Photoshop pencil. A tip - stop trying to fool people into thinking you are a "real" artist, because all you are doing is cheapening proper artist's works whom have spent hours creating real pictures as opposed to a few minutes on a graphics editing package.

lelapin: Thing is, if they acquired Etherpad before Wave was created, Etherpad probably would have cost more to acquire. I'd say the long term potential of Wave having similar functionality, and more, devalued Etherpads product. In announcing that they will open source Etherpad, Google seems to be acknowledging this. Seems like a good outcome for everyone, Etherpad employees, Google and their users.

Andrew: I'm just glad Etherpad (probably following the outcry that their earlier post provoked) made public pads possible again and is to be released as open source for anybody to grab the code and create something out of it. Look, I'm excited that FF is still being worked on too, but this is arguably a step in the wrong direction. There's reasons why MySpace is going down the toilet, and different themes on every page is one of them. Comparisons to MySpace seem off, since custom themes involve only four possibilities (background image, background color, bar color and box color) -- no widgets, no custom HTML, etc. And first and foremost, they can be switched off. How many times do you visit someone else's page on FF anyway? Most of the time is in your home feed or different lists. I just don't get the negativity, when it's a fun and optional feature that you can opt out from ever seeing again in about two seconds.

They're promoting their pastas more, and probably want to extend the food offerings further. They've offered pastas and desserts and such in Asia for a few years now. Seemed to work out well there. (Not to say that I like the change... I think I'll continue calling it Pizza Hut)

Ah, okay. I found a story from last month (URL: http://blogs.moneycentral.msn.com/topstoc...) that says they're rebranding the boxes and "some" signage, but not everything. Yum has never been good at rebranding (they also own Kentucky Fried Chicken/KFC/Kentucky Grilled Chicken or whatever they call it this week).

When I went to KFC a few weeks ago they insisted on calling themselves 'Kentucky Grilled Chicken' but they still use the KFC initials. Perhaps it's now Kentucky Fgrilled Chicken, with a silent F?
