@AliceBartlett can you send me a card to remind me to send my cards?
@jwheare did it go beep, beep, beeeeeeeeeeeeeeep when you took it off?
@coates Firefly is great for sure. Let me know how Dollhouse goes; I've yet to see it.
@erikfrey you know python?…show me.
@edouardbriere word of the day: penes
Sometimes the nuances of Ruby syntax make me beam with delight.
@flangy hardcoded prefix compiled into binary means the code only works from one location?
I once put “penis” without a semi colon after in a common header in my co-workers code. I enjoyed his response to 1000 penis errors.

I feel sorry for the people who called the Spotify voicemail and now have had to listen to their ramblings every 5 tracks for months.
Interesting apt wrapper, for me, it's worth studying its commands - Max Howell
@jherskowitz heh could be for me too. I have gotten better at hearing the words, but I remember when I was a kid it was all Greek to me.
@jherskowitz me neither. I think I actually don't have the right bits of brain that can easily parse language out of song.
@elliottcable heh indeed, figured as much. I'm getting there for dashboard becoming useless too.
This evening I am mostly enjoying Michael Jackson. I say mostly because I cringe at the intro monologue to "I just can't stop loving you"
“I remember when Jobs had no furniture. There wasn't furniture good enough for him. He'd rather have nothing if he couldn't have perfection”
The quote was from this excellent article where important types talk about Steve Jobs & how much they want to marry him http://money.cnn.com/galleri...
And in case you never saw it, here's the picture: http://money.cnn.com/galleri... I love that lamp.
I love the idea of perfect furniture. I find furniture lacking in general but it seems amazingly impractical to go completely without.
@MikeArthur does that module use exceptions? I hope not. It would be inconsistent.
@MikeArthur yeah I mean sensible default for us. Qt is too bloody massive anyway. And Qt isn't an exception-happy API, so most won't care.
@flangy great game, worth getting it ever.
@MikeArthur I'm not sure. It's typical for them to be off with Qt. So I guess it's a sensible default.
Oh. It's Guy Fawkes night. I wondered what all the explosions were.
@elliottcable how's watching 773 repositories working out for you?
For people who write formula that work first time, I salute you. You're all invited to $event_of_notoriety
@attilagyorffy this is crying out for a script. I have one for flac to mp3, prolly easy to convert. brew install flac for that.
This is sweet RT @col000r Unreal Engine 3.0 now freely available to all developers! http://www.udk.com/licensing
@sebr generally with qmake stuff the prefix is hardcoded in the pro files.
From http://crave.cnet.co.uk/gadgets... via @mikearthur. British plugs represent really good design. Even though they look stupid and are massive.
