I had that same problem was @leolaporte. I had to re-follow to get it to show.
- Nolan Alston
Hmm. It looks like there are millions of Twitter feeds I'm not showing up in.

And by minions, I of course mean Fee.
- Paul Reynolds
Will you guys let me know if I pop back into your timelines over the next few days? It was a known issue and they've been working on the fix.
- Veronica
Veronica: last i see on the public timeline was your comment about answering as eric cartman. I'm obviously not counting your replies :)
- Carlos Urrutia
Your most recent comment came through :)
- Carlos Urrutia
I've noticed that some time ago but I thought it was just me.

Lou Malnati's pizzas are made according to the family's original five-decade-old deep dish pizza recipe. All pizzas are hand-made from scratch, baked and quickly frozen to preserve their hot out of the oven freshness. The pizzas are packed with dry ice in safe 'keep fresh' coolers and shipped via UPS. Tastes of Chicago can be delivered to any home or office and come complete with baking instructions and your personal message right on the box!

Wow, I totally missed the x-ray. I assumed the reference was the guest appearance by Dan Castellaneta.

good way to have peeps watch their so so shows............
- VAL D. Zone
I watched House and Lie to Me this week, I guess I just missed the contest references. But now that you have pointed it out, I see them everywhere.

Tease: This Week on This Week In Tech, Natali del Conte shows off her Droid, Jason Calacanis talks about SOX, and Patrick Norton fights for a free Internet. TWiT is next!

Are you frickin' kidding me? I have to pay $900 a year or whatever astronomical bullshit charge Apple has for MobileMe just to sync 1Password between machines? That pretty much makes 1Password expensive and useless all in one go.
Are you frickin' kidding me? All I had to do was a simple Google search to solve this problem? That pretty much makes 1Password viable and me an idiot all in one go.
- Akiva Moskovitz
alphaxion, if only I had a dedicated IP address.
- Akiva Moskovitz
dyndns and an updater app solves the issue with dynamic IP addressing from your ISP... I used to use "username.dyndns.org" with my old ISP. Some routers even build in support for it now, too.
- alphaxion
Never been a fan of dynamic DNS services. Also, I'd hate to rely on my crappy Comcast connection especially since my upload rate is so beastly slow.
- Akiva Moskovitz
ah.. comcast.... yeah, you're better off with something else, and this is someone from the UK knowing how bad they are! ;)
- alphaxion
You should just post the password on your website so you can always look there to see what it is.
- Cristo
I'm doing the MobileMe trial now, only because it's free and I wanted to see how the locate my phone & remote wipe worked. But I don't use it for files, especially anything as sensitive as my passwords.
- LogEx
There's another reason to use Dropbox I'll pitch you on later.
- Bruce Lewis
from fftogo
LogEx, here's hoping you don't use the same password on every site.
- Akiva Moskovitz
I don't, I use dozens plus variations (it's not critical after all for casual service passwords to be highly secure). But it's rare that I have to look one up, particularly for something I use with any frequency.
- LogEx
Well, luckily I'm not installing this on your computers then.
- Akiva Moskovitz
I was going to post a random hash and say it was my password, then realized that http://randomhash.com/ is NOT taken. I don't want it, but i thought it was interesting.
- Josh Haley
@josh I wonder how many stoners would reach the site, and leave feeling disappointed >.<
- alphaxion
Cool, I'd go for the second option though, but I'm just a fan of nature pics so that's biased. The first will probably get you to stand out even slighlty more. (and yes, I expand to see the third option :)
- James Kuypers
No incompatible software that I've seen yet, but I've only really tested Lightroom and Firefox with it so far. I don't really use that much other software though.

Spaces is very laggy for me dragging windows between spaces. Also, iTunes is restarting on its own for no reason. Other than those annoyances it seems pretty tight.

"Some customers have reported transmission performance issues under certain driving conditions. This was due to a faulty component inside the Mechatronic unit within a limited production range. VWGoA will repair or replace the components in the transmissions of approximately 43,000 Volkswagens and 10,300 Audis at no charge to the vehicles' owners. Additionally, VWGoA will reimburse customers who have had this repaired at their own expense."

I tried to get an additional hour of sleep by going to bed a hour earlier. Only to wake up a hour earlier and spend 30 mins trying to go back to sleep. I did not succeed.
"Main stream media" become broadcast channels for the most followed individuals.
- Ken Sheppardson
Most followed, trusted, popular... pick your criteria
- Ken Sheppardson
Unfortunately if you "Share" an item, that fact doesn't seem to be associated back with the original item. You can see how many people have Liked a post, but you can't see how many folks have Shared it (in Google Reader)
- Ken Sheppardson
Historically there have really been two distinct classes of Twitter 3rd party apps - those that drive participation/traffic to the site (e.g. 1,000 different clients) and those that try to extract some value from the stream (e.g. analytic tools, search engines, firehose based Track serves, etc.) Seems they've been much more supportive of the former than the latter.
- Ken Sheppardson
what does the ability to 'perform' your location mean for the credibility of those reports?
- Gabe
That makes sense though Ken. I can think of some great ways to make money by extracting value from the stream
- Chris Jones
Oh, sure, Chris... I think it makes sense from Twitter's perspective, it's just a little disingenuous to lump them together and say they "support 3rd party tools/developers"
- Ken Sheppardson
Where does XMPP fit into all this? Does Kevin have any thoughts? They've been pushing "Multi User Chat" and pubsub before PubSubHubbub and all sorts of other ideas came along.
- Ken Sheppardson
Wave Protocol is, BTW, just an extension to XMPP, IIRC

Steve Gillmor -- You listening? They're trying to interpret your Apple/Google/AT&T post from today. About an hour in, if you're listening later.
- Ken Sheppardson
"The application has not been approved because, as submitted for review, it appears to alter the iPhone’s distinctive user experience by replacing the iPhone’s core mobile telephone functionality and Apple user interface with its own user interface for telephone calls, text messaging and voicemail. Apple spent a lot of time and effort developing this distinct and innovative way to seamlessly deliver core functionality of the iPhone." -- http://www.apple.com/hotnews...
- Ken Sheppardson
I think Steve's saying Apple wants the FCC to step in and free them from the carriers, allowing them to do VoIP

The Galaxy from Samsung is the first Android coming to the US with an audio jack afaik.
- Patrick Sullivan
Have you started writing the plug-in for that yet, Gina? :-) (re adding a person to a filter)
- Ken Sheppardson
I'm excited about the Galaxy. I'm a big Samsung fanboy.
- Chris Jones
Oh, and can we please SORT on columns? kthxbye
- Ken Sheppardson
@Chris Jones - I'm very curious about it as I want an Android phone but I'm not sure since it hasn't hit the US yet, and I've heard mixed things about the software keyboard for android, since no more Android phones have the physical keyboard :(
- Patrick Sullivan
That's true. I've heard the software keyboard on Android is a little small. I'm hoping that if enough people complain, either they'll add back the physical or fix the software
- Chris Jones
Chris: "either they'll add back the physical..." Who is "they?"
- Christopher A Carr
