The idiotic thing about this is that the 'preview' was made available to people who have already eaten Håagen Dazs rather than folks who have never eaten it before. Also what is an "international passport"? Sounds really cool. I would like one too.

Having tried this for the last 2 days, I can vouch that it actually does work. Although we used slightly different ingredients honey instead of agave syrup, no chillies or olive oil and JW Black Label (since that was the cheapest whiskey I had left.

"This year, Acer appears poised to overtake Dell as the world’s second-largest seller of personal computers, which would put a real dent into one of America’s favorite dorm-to-empire business stories. And if this comes to pass, Acer would trail only Hewlett-Packard; no computer company based outside the United States has ever climbed so high."

They should be trying to get their enterprise users to upgrade from IE6 to IE8 and then once they get their enterprise users to like it they may install it on their home pcs ;)

I wish they talked about this more in the basic algorithms classes. This one is the money quote: "Remember, big-O notation hides the constants, and those constants can get pretty big. What's more, the impact of those constants is critical for normal-sized workloads. The big-O notation allows you to compare algorithms when the data sets become extremely large, but you have to keep the constants in mind to see when the balance tips."

"As Google ran up from 2004 to 2007, the price would reach its average price target and then analysts would again raise their targets higher. But this strategy failed horribly when Google stopped going up. Well after GOOG peaked in 2007, analysts continued to bump up their price targets, until they finally started lowering them after the stock had nearly been cut in half. On the way down, analysts did the same thing as they did on the way up, and they continued to lower targets even after Google bottomed in early 2009. Recently, however, Google's price has almost caught up to its average price target again, so we would expect to see more price target raises in the future." Read: 'Anal'ysts are just dumbasses.
