"The status conscious elite are a fickle bunch, since that same club mentioned in the article surely was impressed years ago with those toting a BlackBerry instead of the pedestrian flip phone or Palm device. Also, the person at the club doesn't know a thing since that BlackBerry was likely new enough to use the same micro USB that fellow Android users at the club needed to charge their devices. Let's just use the phones that we like, and make fun of one another for important reasons, like our love for different professional sports teams."

"There is another option that might work. It requires reading fine print. You could open a new line of service, get the iPhone 5 16GB for $199, cancel the line and pay the $350 ETF. For some carriers, if you do so within a few days, they will also refund your activation fee. You'll save $100."

"First, can I call you "Uncle Al?" How is RIM working to make App World a better experience by filtering the terrible apps out so the user is able to find the good ones they really want?"

"What a wonderful way to close out the evening. Thank you for sharing a great story about passion and the lovely wonder of being a child. It's always a nice reminder."

"Always appreciate your work, my friend. Thank you for the night where you got me interested in writing over the crazy game of poker during WES 2008 - http://www.flickr.com/photos/n.... Looking forward to seeing your next adventure."

"This device looks much faster than the 9930 did in the leaked Verizon video, which is interesting since they're running the same internals."

"1. You can download the Sonos software to your computer to run it. It's free here - http://www.sonos.com/support/d... 2. Yep, just connect the tv line out to Sonos line in. You'll need a rca to 3.5mm plug. Monoprice.com is a great place to get one for cheap. 3. It plugs into an a/c adapter only and has a handle on the back. Sonos builds it's own mesh network, it does not use your wifi. 4. Can't help ya here. :)"

"Yeah, you can do that. You need a ZonePlayer 90. It connects to your receiver via optical/coax/rca - your choice. You'll need an ZoneBridge also to connect the Sonos to your network unless you connect the ZonePlayer 90 via ethernet to the network."
