would be very very nice. Still can't commit to one.
- Caleb Elston
I really REALLY wish iPhone and google calendars would place nice. I wrote a post awhile back on how to sync them with Calgoo (http://blog.justinkorn.com/index...), but I just wish they would sync over air already.
- Justin Korn
@Justin, I've been using NuevaSync.com to seamlessly sync my iPhone and Google Calendar over the air. Give it a whirl. I just set it up and don't even think about it anymore. Any changes are propagated both ways.
- Dylan Parker
Excited because I use both Google Calendar and Apple iCal but it's been one way from Google to Apple...glad that it will finally sync both ways. It also means I will be able to add events through my iPhone.
- Rajiv Doshi
@Dylan - I did try NuevaSync and 1) had issues with it when I did and 2) Last checked, NuevaSync doesn't keep calendars separated (I have 6+)

Consistent with the values of any "open government," and with his strong leadership on "free debates" from the very start, the Obama team has modified the copyright notice on change.gov to embrace the freest CC license.
- Dave Winer
from Bookmarklet
Do official government publications in the US have copyright protection or are they in the public domain? Just curious. If they are in the public domain it would render the CC license unnecessary. That being said to see the Obama team adopt a CC license is a very good sign of what is to come.
- Paul Jacobson
paul, i think you're right. by def us govt docs are public domain. we paid for em, they're ours.
- Dave Winer
now that said -- obama isn't on the payroll yet, so this was a visionary act of generosity and a hat tip to prof lessig.

We do learn by doing but also by watching-Lurkers according to someone's research must find it. (OR Bandura's social learning theory. We learn through interaction with a peer group and social situation .Vygotsky. We learn in many ways but need firm hubs or maps to navigate when the learning must take us to a specified curriculum. To increase sense between the learner's personal view and other meaning makers aha moments or findings must be coagulated and recorded so others can see and criticize or add to it. If we always forget our history of development we will always repeat it Dewey was a great theorist for recording and creating connections with learners. The strength was in real life learning and in comparison with this great theory connectivism is just as progressive for the age and stage of some developed countries as Dewey was in his day.. The theory of multiple intelligences (Gardner) changed the delivery and design of courses and helps learners to feel they fit

That sandwich would most definitely be thrown away.
- Kenya
To all of the nay sayers, I think most people *WOULD NOT TOUCH IT* so they couldn't throw it away or anything else. They would just leave it there for someone else to deal with.
- Andrew Baron
@Andrew it's a possibility, but I toss stuff out in the office fridge because I don't want mold to somehow get involved with my food...
- Ben Jackson
from twhirl
@ben, you should be careful, you are the most likely to be exposed to unsuspecting growth, a total biohazard. Please leave that stuff alone and let someone else deal with it, you could be seriously injured.

These STILL make me laugh and Susan wtf hahahhahahaha

Snake Oil refers to the old practice of selling shit in a bottle (snake oil) and promising Fountains of Youth, Cure Alls, etc. (common practice of the late 1800s - often peddled by gypsy wagons and other wayfarers ready to make a fast buck err penny)... snake oil! augh!! these ads are all crap! just like the old snake oil bottles!
- Susan Beebe
hahahahah I'm googling right now, Susan!!

I would take this further and fill it with Sour Jelly Bellys, so while I'm on the go, my fruity flavored, pea-size goodness is within reach.NO, no sharing!
- Terence
Why not just put them into a bigger bowl and add more interesting items into there? This would only stress the hell out of the poor little bugger! Now a leash for one? maybe ;)
- alphaxion
can we use it for any other fish instead if our tastes differ ?:)
- Hayk H.
fish discovers centrifugal force and is not happy
- Moved to Facebook
Earl, i think it is a matter of taste. there might be some crazy, addrenalin-bent fish as well!
- Hayk H.
I like whitebait, you eat those fried whole in breadcrumbs, but I've never tried goldfish. I guess the small ones would fry up real crispy though.
- Ian May
Are you wearing yellow socks?! HAHAHHAHAHA
- Mona Nomura
I was invited on this and gave it up to give a speech to online journalists. Personally the journalists were a lot of fun and they didn't make me barf after the event. :-)
- Robert Scoble
yea he pee'ed in his pants so his socks are yellow! hhhhhhhaaaaaa!
- Susan Beebe
Technically you can't be weightless while inside the gravitational well of a planet...but you can simulate it real well. :)
- Alex Scoble
Scoble, you choose the wrong event. :) Mona, I was on gold team - they identify members by sock color. JA, I didn't barf. Alex, your new handle is "MrBuzzkill."
- l0ckergn0me
Wow, I would love to experience this someday!
- jcunwired
Second image is all wrong, not the joke but that you ALWAYS have to use the furthest possible urinal from your fellow man! It's the unwritten rule.
- Toby Graham
Guys usually try to put a buffer stall between them and the other guy to keep that from happening.

Left = some FFers and where we are / Right = Map from USGS. Key: The red "X" = where it was felt the most. Hope this helps! :) -- please excuse my drawing 'skills'.
- Mona Nomura
I'm in San Jose and didn't feel a thing. 4.0 is a relatively minor quake.
- Jeff P. Henderson
Geoff: Ya cuz I'm always parked in front of a computer LOL @Jeff: So I heard lol. I felt my entire house shake! I thought a bomb dropped or something haha
- Mona Nomura
Yeah, most of the time you can't feel 'em until they are 5 and above.
- Alex Scoble
Hutch, I thought you were in the South Bay!! Jennifer, if I had the skills, I would've SO drawn a launching couch. I can see it in my head. My fingers are just retarded HAHA

The one thing that I care about is Moscone. I'll be up that way for Oracle OpenWorld in a couple of weeks, but I'll probably spend most of my time within a few blocks of Moscone. Of course, in that area you have to think about tall buildings. Thankfully, we have earthquake building codes in California.
- Ontario Emperor
Hutch: done. @Chris: More like EPIC FAIL lol. @Ontario: you're in SF too?
- Mona Nomura
See that X? That big red X? That's where I live!
- AJ Kohn
Walnut Creek? I'm adding you to the map, too AJ!
- Mona Nomura
Another SFer here. Terestita Blvd in da house.
- Mike Doeff
chew R a stick figure with puurdy hair :D
- Caroline
Hutch, that's cool that we're neighbors. We should meet up for coffee.
- Mike Doeff
I'm a former SFer and soon to be again! Currently living by the big red x. Yikes. I was in SF during the quake, though. Surprised that it was only 4.2. I felt it all the way over at UCSF on Parnassus. Felt like a car crashed into the house where I was babysitting. I can only imagine how it would have been at home. Power was only mishap. Had to reprogram clocks and stuff when I got here...
- Lisa L. Seifert
I'm somewhere on that map as well. I was driving at the time and didn't feel a thing.
- Alan Le
Ya, I put a note on my Flickr: "Alan Le, somewhere" and made a super duper stretched boxed of the East Bay hahaha! Lemme know if you want to be taken off :) Ps. Thank you everyone for your concern! :)
- Mona Nomura
Yup. WC. FTW for sure! Now if it could just get below 100 for a day some time in the near future ...
- AJ Kohn
I can barely fit on the map... lower right corner in the brown, next to the RFID plant and IBM Almaden... You also need to scale that the map is 100 miles wide. SF != SJ. SF = 1hr easy from SJ on a good day with supersonic jets and no other citizens on the roads. :)
- Eric Rice
YAY! So you're gonna fix it for me!! Thanks, Spin! :)
