Gannett sent a letter to employees today stating 1400 will be laid off on or around July 9th. Not sure where the 4500 number is coming from.

Weird. The article states 4,500. Well, if there absolutely HAVE to be job losses, I suppose I'd rather hear about 1,400 than 4,500.
