@wmhartnett Shopping is just like sports, isn't it? Complete with the live coverage drivel.

@wmhartnett Tweeting about Black Friday? You forgot to add the #interestingtonooneandannoyingtomany tag.
Has any newspaper publisher actually modified the noun "reader" with the adjective "worthless"? A link maybe? @jayrosen_nyu? @jeffjarvis?

@doctwit Because if it was a wave used to explain Wave, you wouldn't be able to read it.

I've got Google Wave invites, if anyone's interested. Shoot me your e-mail address. Be warned, "Google Wave sucks." http://www.techcrunch.com/2009...
@PublicPatton If you ever have to entertain a 4-year-old for an entire day you'll understand.
Tomorrow's plans: sleep in, eat big breakfast, go to the mall, where I'll be thankful I'm not slugging someone over the last $200 laptop.
PETA whines that NBC refused to run its ad (http://blog.peta.org/archive...), but then forces YouTube to remove the ad posted there (http://www.youtube.com/index...).

AP notes in the second graf that it had the memo before a press release was issued, but does anyone really care? http://www.nfl.com/news...

So what you're telling me is that on Friday, in addition to avoiding any place where commerce occurs, I'll have to avoid Twitter, too?
Then I guess you don't read newspapers, magazines or television - Sue Wyatt Jorgensen
I avoid TV, magazines don't go overkill on Black Friday stories and newspapers wait until Saturday to reprint the same story they ran the year before. Twitter, on the other hand, is going to give me Black Friday updates in real time, which will make me want to kill myself/others. - Nick Bergus from email
I bought a half-case of wine that I don't like because it was cheap. So anyway, now you know your Christmas present.
@brianboyer That's what the Tampa Trib did while I was there (think they still do). Even called them keywords.
